Update Streamline Seasons for Wheelhouse Dynamic Pricing
To ensure uninterrupted and accurate pricing from Wheelhouse, all Streamline users must create and define Season Periods and Standard (STD) Daily Pricing for a minimum of 18 months in advance. We strongly recommend extending these dates as far into the future as possible.
This preparation is critical because Wheelhouse uses the base Standard (STD) Daily Pricing and Season Periods defined in Streamline as the foundation for generating and syncing Wheelhouse rates.
Define Season Periods
Objective: Define the date ranges for all upcoming Season Periods (e.g., Low Season, Holiday, Peak Season).
Once you log into your Streamline account:
Go to Main Menu > Tools > Vacation Rentals Manager > Seasons
In the Seasons Manager, click "Add New Season" and set the date range.
Ensure to add a minimum of 18 months in advance.
Define Base Standard (STD) Pricing
Objective: For every unit and for every day within your defined Season Periods, you must set a base Standard (STD) Daily Pricing rate.
To define the base Standard (STD) Rate Type per UNIT, pick one of the options below:
"Homes Pricing Tool" - Main Menu > Tools > Homes Pricing Tool
"Daily Pricing" tab for the specific unit - Main Menu > Tools > Vacation Rentals Manager > Edit Unit > Availability & Pricing > Daily Pricing
"Pricing Tape Chart" - Main Menu > Tools > Pricing Tape Chart
Key Takeaway for Continuous Yielding
The Wheelhouse integration requires both a Season Period and a base Standard (STD) Daily Pricing to be set for any date you wish to have priced. If either of these is missing, Wheelhouse will not sync rates for those missing dates.
NOTE: If you typically do not open your availability to 18 months, you do not have to build out 18+ months' worth of Seasons. Although you may receive error message if you do not extend to 18 months (to which you can ignore), any dates with Seasons will receive the correct pricing from Wheelhouse.
