What’s changing?

  • Our new Local Seasonality model update enables Wheelhouse to identify a seasonality curve for each listing. This is a major improvement from our prior market-based Seasonality Recs.

What will happen to my listings with automated dynamic pricing?

  • Have data-driven Seasonality active for a listing? Over the next 14 days (until November 12, 2024), we will automatically blend from your current seasonality model to your improved seasonality model. When this “blending” period is complete, your listings will be fully migrated over to your new recommendations.

  • Have rule-based Seasonality active for a listing? Your pricing recommendations will not change.

What prices should I watch the closest?

  • We recognize that some of you may have created daily overrides if/where you disagreed with your prior Seasonal Recommendations.

  • Therefore, if you have large, dynamic (e.g. -20%, +25%) overrides in place, you will certainly want to watch these days, as you might find these days are now priced much higher or lower than you intended.

When should I review those prices?

  • We’d recommend reviewing these prices next Tuesday and the following Tuesday.

  • Yes, we’ll send you another reminder to review your prices!

Need help?

  • Please reach out to your Account Manager or our Customer Support team to review your listings, prices, or settings.

We’re excited to improve your Wheelhouse Pricing Engine and are looking forward to sharing a few more major advancements as we close out 2024!
