Creating a Set

Build a new set

  2. Once the Navigator page loads, type in a location.

    1. The location can be a specific street address, neighborhood, market, or region.

  3. To move around the map, simply click and drag your mouse.

  4. To zoom in/out of the map, scroll with your mouse or click the +/- buttons on the bottom.

  5. Once you have honed in on an area, you can further narrow the listing count with filters.

    1. The filters panel on the right side encompasses 19 different ways* to refine your set.

  6. After filtering the area, you can set a custom boundary. Select the polygon or rectangle button and click your mouse to draw directly on the map.

You can filter listings by 18 categories including:

Add listings to the set

After filtering and drawing a boundary, you are now ready to review and add listings to the set.

There are a few ways to add a listing to the set:

  1. Add single listing - Hover your mouse over a listing (represented as a black dot on the map) and select the Add to Set button.

  2. Review single listing - If you want to review a listing before adding it to the set, hover your mouse over a listing and select the Review later button.

  3. Add multiple listings - If you want to add all the listings currently displayed on the map, click the Add to Sets button on the upper right.

Assign your listings

Assigning your listings to a set allows you to compare your performance against the set.

  1. Click the Compare button on the left.

  2. Select the Add Listing button.

  3. Locate the listing(s) you want to add and click Compare.

  4. Once you've added your listings, simply close out the Compare your listings popup window.

Save your set

Now that you've found a region, filtered and narrowed the listings, reviewed and added listings to the set, the last step is to save the set.

  1. Click the Create Set button at the top.

  2. A window will appear where you will need to add in:

    1. Name - Give your set a name that you can easily identify such as "Downtown Seattle, 3 bedroom, 4.75+ rating".

    2. Category - Select one of the pre-defined categories to help you recognize the type of set you've created.

    3. Description - Write a brief description to help reference the decisions that went into the set.

  3. Lastly, click the Create Set button to successfully save your new set!
