Creating Tags
Creating Tags will help you group listings that you feel are under the same
category or group. By tagging listings with different, unique keywords of your choice, you can customize your view to show or hide specific listings. You can create and assign tags via any of the Portfolio pages.
To create Tags individually, you can follow the steps below.
Go to your Portfolio Settings page, click on the Show/Hide column
button, and select Tags.
Click on the tag field, and a pop-up will appear for you to type in your
tag.
If you already have existing tags and need to create a new one, just click on the Tags field again and then click on the “Change tags…” field box.
Enter the tag name and click Create a new tag.
Bulk Add Tags
To add Tags in bulk (multiple or all listings), these are the steps below.
First, select multiple listings by checking the boxes on the left side of the page.
To select all listings, click on the box where the text “4 selected” is pointing.
Click on the Edit button in the Tags column.
Type in the tag name, then click on Create new tag to finalize the tag creation.
Editing and Deleting Tags
You can bulk delete and edit tags by using the View, Edit & Delete tags button.
To edit the title or the description, just click directly on the Title or the Enter description fields.
To delete it, click on the trash icon.
You may need to click on the Save button after making any changes to the Title or Enter description section.
Tag Chaining
With Tag Chaining, you can now apply a more advanced filter using Tags. It gives you greater flexibility and control over how you view listings in your Portfolio.
Instead of selecting just one inclusion or exclusion filter, you can combine multiple inclusions and create more complex combinations if you need a tailored view.
For example, using both inclusions and exclusions in a chained filter:
I want to include my “Small Size” and “Medium Size” listings, but…
I’d like to exclude my listings with the “Non-Parking” tag.
Create Your First Tag Chaining
First, I went to my Portfolio Settings page and added all three tags by clicking the Filter button.
Next, I selected the Tag filter.
I chose both the "Small Size" and "Medium Size" tags as my included tag filter.
I repeated the process by clicking on the Filter button, then Tag, and this time I selected the “Non-Parking” tag.
Once I’ve successfully added all the appropriate tags, I’ll click on “include” next to the “Tag” text and switch it to “do not include.”
The Result
The result of this type of tag chaining is that it will only show listings that have the tags “Small Size” and “Medium Size” and don’t have the “Non-Parking” tag.
Here’s the list of pages where you can use tag chaining:
All of the Portfolio pages.
The Subscriptions page.
The Performance page.
