Transitioning to a New Integration

I am moving onto a new PMS and need help moving my rates and settings over.

Switching from one integration to another can be a smooth transition with the right guidance. In this article, we'll walk you through the process of moving your settings from your old integration to the new integration to ensure your listings' settings are the same. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a hassle-free transition.

Connect the New Integration

  1. Navigate to the Add Channel page

  2. Locate the new integration to connect your new listings to Wheelhouse. Follow the provided instructions to establish a connection.


Move New Listings to Paid Subscription

Before you copy and paste, you'll need to move the new listings to a paid subscription.

  1. From the Billing>Subscription page, you will see the new listings in the Free tier.

  2. Select the listings to move over to a paid subscription.

Copy and Paste Listing Settings

Once your new listings have loaded into Wheelhouse, you will now need to copy and paste your listing's settings. This will help speed up the onboarding process and ensure the settings are the same.

  1. From the Portfolio>Settings page, select the old listing by clicking on the checkbox on the left.

  2. Select the Copy Settings on the right panel.

  3. Check the box next to each setting you would like to copy over and click the Next button.

  4. Select the new listing to paste the settings to by clicking on the checkbox on the left side of the listing title. If you have multiple listings with the same settings, this is the time to select all the new listings to paste. Then click the Next button.

  5. You will then need to click the Apply Settings button and confirm by clicking the Yes, I'm sure button.

Turn On Automation for the New Integration

If you copy and paste the settings and select Automation to copy over, you can skip to the next step. Otherwise, here is how to turn on automation to start syncing to your new listings:

  1. From the Portfolio>Settings page, select the new listing(s) by clicking on the checkbox on the left.

  2. On the upper right, click the Auto Pricing button and select the On button and Save.


Turn Off Automation for the Old Integration

Your new listings are now syncing to the new integration. The last step is to turn off the automation for the old listings and move the listings to the free tier.

  1. From the Portfolio>Settings page, select the old listing(s) by clicking on the checkbox on the left.

  2. On the upper right, click the Auto Pricing button and select the Off button and Save.

  3. From the Billing>Subscription page, you will see the old listings in the paid tier.

  4. Select the listings to move over to free.

  5. Optional: You can bypass steps 1-4 by deleting the old integration for the Connected Channels page.

By following these steps, you can successfully move from your old integration to the new one while preserving your listing(s)' settings and automation. It is always good to spot-check the settings to ensure the new listings align with the old listings.
