Editing a report just means changing how your data shows up. Maybe you want it to tell a clearer story or make it easier for someone else to read.
You’re not starting over or building something new — just making small changes to what’s already there. You can swap out a chart, move a few things around, or get rid of stuff that doesn’t matter.
For example, you might replace the ADR chart with RevPAR, adjust the comparison view, or remove cards that don’t add anything useful.
Editing Your Report
To modify your report, start by selecting an existing one.
Open a report. In this example, I’ll use my Tampa Performance vs Market report.
Click the three horizontal dots ( ⋯ ) in the top right corner.
Select the Add / Edit Widgets option.
From here, you can edit, add, or remove cards directly in the layout.
Editing Existing Cards
Each card or widget is a visual representation of your report, such as a KPI, chart, or table.
To edit a card:
Hover over the card you want to adjust.
Click ⋯ (More options).
You can change the Metric.
Or, you can delete the card if you’d like to replace it with a different widget.
Click the Save Report button to save the change.
Adding a New Card
You can add more cards if you’d like to expand your report with additional insights.
To add a card:
In the edit mode, click the "+ Add widget" button.
On the right sidebar for adding a widget, you can choose the type of data or visualization you want to include:
Widget type (Text, Stat, Chart, Table, or Pricing).
Chart type (Line, Bar, Column, or Area).
Metric.
Compare periods (Previous year, or Next year).
Compare data sources (The listings, Market, or Dynamic Sets).
Click and drag your new widget to a section of your report.
Click the Save Report button to save the change.
Removing a Card
If a card no longer adds value to your report, you can remove it by doing the following:
Hover over a card.
Click the vertical 3 dots ⋮ (More options).
Select the Delete option.
Click the Save Report button.
By removing unused cards, you can keep your report clean and focused.
Example Scenario
Let’s say you are trying to review a recently created report called Tampa Performance vs Market.
Before sharing it with owners, you want to change the Length of Stay card to the Booked Nights metric and rearrange the metrics in a specific order. You can do this using the steps provided here, and to change the layout, you can click and drag any cards to the design you prefer.
Note:
There’s no right or wrong—you can design the report layout in whatever way fits your team and the metrics you need. Feel free to explore it, and reach out to our chat support team anytime if you have questions.
