Filters and Column Sets

Choose which listings you see and what you see about them.

Written by Ryo

Filters decide which listings you see. Column Sets decide what you see about them. Save your filters as a Segment and your columns as a Column Set, and you can switch to any setup in one click.

Where You'll Find Them

Portfolio Settings, Calendar and Metrics share one toolbar above the listing table:

  1. Segment: your saved filters.

  2. Filters: how many filters are on, for example "4 filters".

  3. Listing count: how many listings match.

  4. Column Set: the set of columns you're looking at.

  5. Columns: how many columns are in the set, for example "7 columns".

Dashboard and Performance have Segment and Filters too, but not Column Sets.

Filter Your Listings

  1. Click the filters button, then + Add Filter.

  2. Search for a field, or pick one from Listing Features, Listing Status or Listing Performance.

  3. Set the value. For a performance metric, set a Minimum, a Maximum, or both, and choose a Date range.

  4. Click Add filter.

Each category can be collapsed, and Wheelhouse remembers how you left it. The listing count updates as you add filters.

Choose a Date Range

Performance filters and columns offer three kinds of date range:

Option

What It Covers

Example

Next

A rolling window forward

Next 30 days

Last

A rolling window back

Last 90 days

Calendar

A specific year, quarter or month, past or future

Q3 2026, December 2025

A rolling Next 30 days window moves with today, while Q3 2026 always covers July to September

Tip: Look back and forward at once. Add Occupancy, December 2025, at least 80%, then Occupancy, December 2026, at most 40%. You get the listings that sold out last December but are light on the books for this one.

Save Your Filters as a Segment

A Segment saves your filters so you can apply them again in one click. For the steps, see How to - Segments.

A Segment built on a rolling window (Next or Last) moves with today. A Segment built on a Calendar period always means that period, so "Occupancy, Q3 2026" always shows Q3 2026.

Use Column Sets

Open the Column Set menu to switch sets. You'll see:

  • Pre-built sets: Basic View, Pickup Zoom, Occupancy Zoom, Available Revenue Zoom and Flags Zoom.

  • Your own sets, marked with a person icon.

  • Your default set, marked Default.

  • Create new set and Edit column sets at the bottom.

To make your own:

  1. Open the Column Set menu and click Create new set.

  2. Add the columns you want.

  3. Set a date range on each column, for example Revenue, Calendar, November.

  4. Name the set and save it.

Column Sets save each column's date range, including Calendar periods. You can set any Column Set as your default, so the Portfolio pages open with it.

Common Questions

Where did the old filter chips go?

They were replaced by the filters button. Save the filters you use often as a Segment.

What is "Legacy Default" in my Column Set menu?

It's the column setup you had before Column Sets, kept so your view didn't change. Switch to another set whenever you like.

Can I use Calendar periods in columns too?

Yes. A column's date range has the same Next, Last and Calendar options as filters.

Why can't I pick "is not" on some filters?

Fields where you choose a single value, such as Listing Status and Automation, only offer "is". Pick the opposite value instead, for example "is Inactive".
