Wheelhouse working hard to continuously deliver new tools to you, via our MCP/Connectors/etc.
And, sometimes these updates will include name changes that mean you need to refresh your tools list, in order to keep your builds functioning as expected.
Usually, we can remotely refresh your tools list in Claude, but that might not always work.
Therefore, this article details how you can refresh your Connector from your end.
30 second video:
Refresh your connector: Steps
Open your Claude Settings.
Go to Connectors.
Find Wheelhouse in your list of connectors.
Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu in the upper right corner.
Select Refresh tools list.
Claude will now pull in any tools or preferences that have been added or changed since you first connected.
What's new after refreshing
Once refreshed, you'll have access to the latest Wheelhouse preferences.
You'll also see each available tool listed under Read-only tools or Write/delete tools, with a permission level you can set for each one:
Auto-approve — Claude can use the tool without asking first.
Needs approval — Claude will ask before using the tool each time.
Off — Claude can't use the tool at all.
Note: If you don't see a preference or tool you're expecting after refreshing, disconnect and reconnect the Wheelhouse connector, then try again.
